Today, the Jenks Veterans Advisory Council proudly honors the brave men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Armed Forces Day is a time to recognize the dedication, sacrifice, and commitment of those who stand ready to defend our nation at home and abroad. Their service protects the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their courage deserves our deepest gratitude.

To all currently serving members of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard — thank you for your service, your strength, and your continued sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day from the Jenks Veterans Advisory Council🌸

Today, we honor and celebrate all mothers—especially the women who have served our nation, supported their families through military life, and carried the strength of those they love through times of sacrifice and service.

To the mothers who wore the uniform, the military spouses holding things together at home, the Gold Star mothers carrying unimaginable loss, and every mom whose love and guidance shape the lives around them—thank you.

Your compassion, resilience, and sacrifice often happen quietly, but their impact is felt for generations.

From all of us at JVAC, we wish you a day filled with love, appreciation, and time with those who matter most.

VFW Post 9126 proudly recognizes and honors all who have served—and those who continue to serve—our great nation.

This month is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by our service members, veterans, and their families. From those who raised their right hand years ago to those currently standing watch around the world, your dedication and courage do not go unnoticed.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to the families who support them—your strength and resilience are part of that service.

At VFW Post 9126, we are committed to keeping the legacy of service alive by supporting veterans in our community and ensuring their stories are never forgotten.
