Praise Is The Cure

Praise Is The Cure Praise is the Cure Week recognizes the difficult journey to wellness made by African American Breast Cancer patients, survivors, and their families.

Praise Is The Cure® (PITC) is a non-profit organization that promotes breast health, targeting African American women and their families with an emphasis on the underserved and underinsured in Philadelphia, PA. Its workshops helps, survivors, patients, their family and friends understand what role spirituality plays on their journey and road to recovery.

Mr. John Conner represented PITC at a Breast Cancer event at the Morrison School last Wednesday. The school is located on North 3rd Street. The students interviewed him for the school paper and then participated in a walk through the neighborhood to raise awareness about breast cancer.

Behind every survivor is often a caregiver someone who prays, drives to appointments, brings meals, and offers comfort when the days are heavy. At Praise Is The Cure, we celebrate YOU, the caregivers, whose love, strength, and sacrifice make a world of difference.

Tag a caregiver below and thank them for the way they’ve given hope, health, and healing.

God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.” – Psalm 46:5

At Praise Is The Cure, we believe healing is not just physical, it’s spiritual. For every patient, survivor, caregiver, and family walking this journey, remember: you are not alone. God’s strength is greater than any challenge, and His love carries us through.

Today, let this scripture remind you that even in the hardest moments, you are held, supported, and lifted by faith. Drop a "🙏🏾" in the comments if you’re standing on faith this season

Mammograms are the single most effective tool for detecting breast cancer early sometimes up to 3 years before a lump can be felt.

Early detection means:
1) More treatment options
2) Higher survival rates
3) Better chances for less invasive care

If you’re 40 or older, don’t delay, make your mammogram a priority. And if breast cancer runs in your family, talk with your doctor about starting even earlier.

Drop a heart in the comments if you’ve scheduled your mammogram this year, and tag a friend to remind them to do the same.
