Shriner Christmas Drive: We are collecting items for Shriners Christmas presents. Anyone that wants to donate something, please let me know, this includes my co-workers at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital as well.
Here is the list of items that they could always use at the Shriner hospitals.
Contact Kevin Ray Jones, Leven LaCroix, or myself for toy drop offs.
Markers
Colored pencils
Adult color books
Any individual, pre-packaged craft activities that can be passed out individually to kids during a busy clinic
Nerf balls~ basketball, soccer, football- especially the mid & regular sized basketballs so they can play basketball inside
Activities that can be used in the toy closet:
Board games- Connect Four, Battle Ship, Monopoly, Checkers, Rumi Cube, Yahtzee
Card games- Uno, Skipbo, phase 10, etc.
We tend to get a lot of Candy Land because they are so cheap
**For our kids who are anxious or autistic- These toys can also be used in the cast room. Would love fidget toys & mermaid-sequined pillows, mermaid sequined stuffed animals/ blankets- These are not “mermaids” but as you rub the sequins, they change colors.
Fatbrain toys- you can search the website by age or diagnosis. We love these toys & cannot have enough of them. We would love multiples of any or every one of these toys.
Some of our favorites are: “dimpl digits”, “simpl dimpl”, “dimpl”, “whirly squigs”, “Mozart magic cube”, “giant tangle”, “spinny pins”, “dimpl duo”, “pop & slide shelly”, “easy grip massaging fruit teethers”, “winkel”, “bolli”, “poppin peepers”, “fun water game”, “tangle relax therapy”, “klickity”
