The AJ Donohue Foundation The AJ Donohue Foundation is a 501c3 organization seeking to fulfill AJ's dream of raising money for children's hospitals, patients, and their families.

"TEAM AJ" was started in 2006 by AJ Donohue. At the time, AJ was receiving cancer treatment at Wolfson Children's Hospital. AJ decided to try and raise $50,000 to make the rooms more comfortable for family members and visitors of the patients! Despite being told that he only had weeks to live, AJ and his team of passionate family members and friends sold stickers and t-shirts throughout the world.

The day before AJ passed away on September 23, 2006, TEAM AJ met his goal of $50,000! Since AJ passed, "TEAM AJ" has continued to grow. Hosting an annual golf tournament on beautiful Jekyll Island and working closely with other local charities, what started as an idea born in a hospital room has expanded to become a 501(c)(3) status non-profit organization called The AJ Donohue Foundation. The AJ Donohue Foundation seeks to continue AJ's legacy and to spread his passion for helping young cancer patients and their families in any way possible!
