Please join us at Mosaic on Thursday May 21 at 6 PM for local author and historian Mason Stewart's presentation “Temple Beth Tefilloh: A historic Jewish synagogue smack in the middle of the Bible Belt.” As one of the oldest synagogue structures in America still in continuous use since its construction in 1890, Brunswick’s Temple Beth Tefilloh stands as a rare architectural jewel of American Jewish history. He will also highlight the small group of Jewish immigrants who played a significant role in the rebirth of downtown Brunswick following the Civil War.
Light refreshments will follow the presentation.

Do you know where this marker is located?

The text says there's a chimney remaining, but I didn't see one; it probably has decayed since the marker was first posted in 1958.

It was a great night celebrating the restoration of the Gould Casino’s exterior with the Allman Brothers tribute band Restless Natives. FOHJI pledged $100,000 to the project. Thank you to all who helped us reach that goal by joining FOHJI, attending events like our Gala Dinner, participating in the FOHJI Auction, and donating to the organization.
