If you have ever wanted to learn a new skill, make something, or create art then we are the place for you. For a monthly membership you can have access to metal working, wood working, laser etching/cutting, 3d printing, welding, embroidery / sewing, vinyl printing, and much more.

Our friends at Kolkin Coffee created a special roast for Maker13. A smooth, approachable blend that’s a little milder than Kolkin’s usual bold roasts.

We still have a limited number of bags available for $20 each. Net proceeds support Maker13 and our work providing access to tools, training, and hands-on learning.

What an awesome event! River City Rumble was a huge hit — literally and figuratively. 🤖⚡

Congratulations to all of the robot teams who competed, with special congratulations to our first-place winners: WallFlower, Golden OuiOui, and Chaosblitz!

A huge thank-you to the staff and volunteers who made the event possible; and to everyone who came out to cheer on and support our incredible competitors.

What an awesome day! Our competitors put up some ruthless and intense competition! However, only four can move on from each weight class! In the Plastic Antweight Category: fighting for 1st & 2nd we have MiniMike and WallFlower. Fighting for 3rd & 4th, Mad Tea Party and Shellac. In the Antweight Category: fighting for 1st & 2nd we have Golden Ouioui and Toxic. Fighting for 3rd & 4th, Girthquake and Da Bwoo Robo. In the Beetle Weight Category: fighting for 1st & 2nd we have Chaosblitz and Invader. Fighting for 3rd & 4th, Peepy and MetaRay. 🤖

Are you looking for an amazing way to spend your Saturday? If so...Maker 13 has a special event just for you. The Maker 13 River City Rumble! 🤖 We will be hosting a MRCA qualifying combat robot competition. This event will include 1 lb (plastic antweight), 1 lb (antweight), and 3 lb (beetleweight) robots battling it out in their respective weight classes to reach the fanale (hosted at 5:00 pm). If that sounds like an awesome day to you...drop by and cheer on these robots too. Family friendly, fun for all ages, a competition of a lifetime, trust me you won't want to miss this...

What a way to wrap up Cultural Pass 2026! 🚀
Our final Young Makers session was filled with building, creating, testing and plenty of excitement. Thank you to every young maker and family who joined us this summer - and to the interns, volunteers and staff who helped make it all happen.

Cultural Pass may be over, but the action at Maker13 is just getting started. Next up: River City Rumble, our free-to-watch combat robotics tournament on Saturday, August 1! 🤖
