The Bliss House ladies had an amazing day at Kart Kountry, and it was so much more than just a fun outing. We raced go-karts, splashed around in the bumper boats, played arcade games, and even took our chances in the batting cages.
One of the greatest gifts of recovery is learning how to have fun again. For many women, active addiction stole opportunities for joy, laughter, and simple carefree moments. Today, these women are discovering that recovery isn't just about staying sober—it's about building a life worth staying sober for.
As we laughed together, cheered each other on, and embraced our competitive sides, we also got in touch with our inner child. We were reminded that happiness can be found in the little things: a friendly race, a silly game, shared laughter, and making memories with people who understand your journey.
Recovery teaches us that we don't have to miss out on life anymore. We can experience genuine joy, healthy friendships, and new adventures while creating memories we'll cherish for years to come.
Today was filled with laughter, connection, and fun—and that's exactly what recovery should look like.
