We had the opportunity to transform the barn into a Sponsor Expo, and our students got to test new gear and talk with the people who make it. Congratulations to FarZana Akhtar, recipient of the Canon USA Award at EAW ###IX!

The award is inspired by Kyosei, Canon’s philosophy of living & working together for the common good. That idea feels especially fitting at EAW, where people come together to share what they know, support one another & make room for new voices.

Farzana, a member of the Orange Team, received a Canon EOS R5 Mark II, a BG-R20 battery grip & Canon RF70-200mm & RF24-105mm Z lenses.

The award was presented by Rebecca Nichols, Canon USA’s Director of Education, Field & Sales Support & Matt Campbell, Senior Manager of Key Agency & Pro Market Field Support.

Snaps from the last day at the Farm. The day included the sponsor expo, a physical safety panel with Lauren Walsh, Kathleen Flynn & Rianna Pauline Starheim + a presentation from EAW alum Mary Calvert & a keynote conversation between Aundre and Pamela Chen.

The class presented their work before we closed out the weekend with awards and fireworks over the Farm.
