What will we do with this time that we have? In our youth we feel that there is an abundance of time that we can count on to do everything we want, we live reckless and carefree and on the edge only to find that we wake up one day older and maybe a bit wiser but mostly confused about life,so many things have changed now more responsibilities ,kids a home payments and stress where did all this come from it is now we only start to think of the future and that maybe there is a limit to this thing called time. now we wake up and what is this there is gray in my hair and that wrinkle was not there yesterday now we know that the limit is closer and that time is just a fleeting moment that we take for granted .the moments we reflect on the regrets we have the burdens we carry and the things we wish we could change now haunt us the past is not changeable and even the now as we see the mistakes in our time here will and can there be enough future to change the mistakes to right the wrongs to erase a memory or change a path. A man I dearly love and truly admire has told me many times to live your life with no regrets to seize the moments that are then never apologize for what you do or who you are for this is your life to live and no man should judge this I wonder is he right. what dreams may come what tragedies we face loves we have and loves we lose the times we smile and the tears we shed although seem to be a lifetime are really just a blink of an eye and just a moment that passed. all in all, we can never recapture a moment there will never be another opportunity to seize a moment and in the end, there will never be enough time

When you have devoted a life to something that has spanned decades and continue to stay the course no matter the setbacks. When you have given everything imaginable you have to see your dream stay alive and flourish. When you have battled all obstacles in this path, when you have built people up only to see them betray you, when you push forward even when your strength both mental and physical are gone. Then you can tell me what you have earned and what you think you deserve .

Whether you call it a dream or a goal you have to understand you will pay a toll to reach and achieve it. what do you want from life? what path are you willing to endure for it?
What you choose to strive for the things or accomplishments you wish to have will have a price tag. The questions that you must ask yourself are many. What are you willing to sacrifice to achieve? Will it be time, money or relationships?
Understanding that nothing is free and you cannot look at this as monetary. Goals whether they are physical, academic or personal have a cost. At any point you can say that is enough, no more and you can take comfort in saying you tried. Understand the choice, understand the consequences of quitting or moving forward and that both cost you.
It is of no matter the thing but always a matter of its cost that will decide which you choose surrender or a forward path to the end result the real questions, is it what you really want? Is it worth the cost? Will it bring me happiness? Can I live with the decisions to achieve this?

More than not in today’s world we are bombarded with images and ideas of what Christmas is, constant advertisements and media representations of Christmas. People rushing into stores spending moneys they do not have to please people and children with gifts of the material things in life that we sadly place above the true importance’s of life. what we each choose to believe Christmas is and means is our own choice. There needs to be no history lesson on the matter of its origin nor the media push to turn this day into an instrument of their cause more than anything it should be a time of remembrance , a time to put aside the petty things that really hold no value or worth .so for the children let them hold on one more year to the bearded man in the red suit and enjoy the wonder that is Christmas day .take the time to gaze in their eyes and hopefully bring that time back to your heart .for us as adults let us take the time to see the gifts we have in our lives and be thankful ,each of us has lost some of the gifts in our lives through death, ignorance, thoughtlessness and selfishness that we will never regain gifts we did not cherish enough while they were a part of our lives . Let the holiday begin, raise a glass, give a hug, share a smile and most of all look for the real gifts and blessings in your life. Merry Christmas to you all
