Things have been a little soggy lately on the flower farm. Yet we are still planting! A few of ladies helping us from Lotus House are in need of some waterproof gear—size XL rain pullovers and rain boots or waterproof work boots sizes women’s 9, 10, and 12?

Can you help by donating your gently used gear or ordering off our wishlist? Link in comments.

Last week, we were honored to welcome volunteers from Duke Energy to our new Wild Indigo Flower Farm on Family Ark’s 76-acre campus in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Duke Energy Foundation’s grant of $10,000, along with support from Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, is helping bring this new mission-aligned social enterprise to life. Their volunteer team also spent the day in the field helping plant seeds alongside our staff and volunteers.

Wild Indigo Flower Farm was created to generate sustainable support for Family Ark’s programs while creating opportunities for healing, connection, and workforce development through nature-based experiences.

Thank you to every volunteer who helped plant seeds of hope with us last week. We cannot wait to watch this field come to life in the months ahead.

Special thanks to the News and Tribune coverage and WDRB feature story
for helping share the story of what’s growing here.

We’re so thankful for the community partners who help make Celebrating Families!, offered by Clark County Family Recovery Court and Family Ark on our 76-acre healing campus, such a meaningful and welcoming experience for the families we serve.

Last night, Clark County CASA (pictured) provided a delicious family-friendly meal for participants before families joined small groups organized by age to discuss the topic of the week: Healthy Boundaries.

Thank you to Clark County CASA and all of the groups and individuals who have helped provide meals this spring:

• Papa Johns
• St. John Paul II Parish
• Sellersburg United Methodist Church
• C&M Smith Restaurants/Taco Bell
• House of Refuge Community Church
• Centra Credit Union
• Family Ark Board Members
• Northside Christian Church
• Kim Chapelle & Judge Lisa G. Reger

Your generosity helps create space for connection, encouragement, healing, and family growth each week. Thank you for walking alongside the families in our community.

If you or your group are interested in providing a Monday night dinner for Celebrating Families! participants during our fall session starting in August/September, please reach out to Andrea Walden, Director of Development, at [email protected] or 812-288-6800 x105.
