American Legion GI Joe Post 244 Auxiliary Mission: Support The American Legion. Honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of veterans, military, and families. Advocate for veterans.

Educate. Mentor. Promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace & security. Community of veteran advocates, fundraising for and completion of veteran support activities. Unit is based at location with canteen, attached hall for social and leadership activities

Also ,on Sunday March 29th, at 3:00 PM there will be a Vietnam Veteran's Day service at the Jeffersontown Memorial Park. Come out and show your support for Vietnam Veterans.
