Well, we’ve officially passed the halfway point of summer, so I thought it was a good time to give everyone an update on what’s been happening at Jefferson Lodge #33.

This summer has been a busy one. We’ve had a couple of our brothers deployed to assist with wildland fires, another brother traveled all the way to New Zealand to spend time with family, and we’ve continued making great progress on our lodge building. We also have had a lot of family time, with bbqs and picnics.

We are almost done with the 3rd side of the exterior of our lodge, and we’re getting closer every week to finishing the outside of the lodge. It’s exciting to see all of the hard work paying off, and we couldn’t do it without the dedication of our brothers and the support of our community.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered, supported our projects, and cheered us on. We can’t wait to share more updates as we continue making Jefferson Lodge #33 a place our members and community can be proud of.

We have the pleasure of working with the Jefferson community and being a part of Hero’s Day. It is truly a great opportunity to work alongside the town and see everyone come together to celebrate the people who make this community so special.

Events like this remind us how important it is to support each other, give back, and continue building strong connections within our community. We are grateful for everyone who came out, volunteered, and helped make this day possible.

Thank you, Jefferson, for allowing us to be a part of such a wonderful event. We look forward to continuing to serve and support this amazing community!

Slowly but surely, we will have our lodge looking brand new. Today, we were finally able to start removing the old siding on the south wall and around the main entrance. We can’t wait to show everyone the final results.

We decided to go dark for the summer, but that doesn’t mean we can’t continue working on projects, practicing ritual work, and spending more time with our brothers and families.

We had a work party today, and the saying “many hands make light work” was truly an understatement. We had so many brothers come out to lend a hand, and we accomplished a tremendous amount today — not just outside, but inside the lodge as well.

Although a bit late, we couldn’t let April 6th go by without highlighting what an incredible night it was at our Stated Communication.

The evening kicked off with some outstanding homemade chili and great fellowship, setting the stage for what turned out to be a truly memorable night. Our Ladies Night festivities were also in full swing, and from everything we’ve heard, it was an amazing evening filled with laughter, fun, and great company.

To top it all off, we had the honor of welcoming Most Worshipful Marc Strong, Grand Master of Masons in Oregon, for his official visit. It was truly a privilege to have him with us and to share in such a special evening.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the night such a success—we look forward to many more evenings like this in the future!
