Brunswick High School Safe and Sane Class of 2016

The big day has almost arrived! A few details in regards to the upcoming Safe and Sane Party being held at Adventure Park for the seniors who have registered (submitted your paperwork and payment) for the party.

You must ride the BUS TO AND FROM the PARTY. You need to arrice at your bus pickup location NO LATER THAN 10:20pm. Parents will be notificed if the student does not arrive and there is no refund if the student decides not to attend the party.

Food and drinks will be provided throughout the evening and no money is needed.

The outside attractions will be open, weather permitting. Please bring a dry change of clothes if you are planning to enjoy the bumper boats. You are required to have on dry clothes to participate in some of the other activities at Adventure Park. All bags will be stored in a locked room and monitored by a parent chaperone.

What if a Student has not signed up but wants to attend - You will need to arrive at the bus location (if it is Wednesday night) with your parent or guardian (so they can signe the paperwork) and $120 cash (we are no longer accepting checks). You will be able to get signed up then and board the bus. Prior to June 1, please contact one of the Board Members so you can get the paper work and make the cash payment.

For those of you, family, and friends who purchased raffle tickets for the May's Seafood Crab basket at the Ford Event we did not forget about it. We had hoped to have other events in the Fall to sell additional tickets but those did not work out. At our January parent committee meeting we decided to go ahead and complete this raffle out.

We are pleased to announce that Collin Dinges is the winner. Of course he used his mother's money to buy lots of tickets in hope that he would be the winner! Enjoy your Mac N Cheese dinner at May's Seafood Collin :)

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS: The school will be taking a class photograph for the yearbook on Tuesday, January 26th during Connections. Please be in the new gym promptly at 10:18 if you would like to be included. They will be on a tight schedule so please be on time.

Parents - we are in desperate need of volunteers to man our fundraiser table at the upcoming Barnes & Noble Event on Jan 30th. If you could give an an hour or two during 12-5pm that would be super. Please contact Karen Jeffers or Amy Dinges to volunteer. Several of us on the committee will be heading out to HCC for the Track Meet that afternoon.

The Class of 2016 Safe and Sane Committee will hold the monthly meeting Wednesday, November 4 at 7:30 in the Media Center. Please plan on attending as we have a few ongoing fundraisers as well as upcoming fundraisers to discuss (Frederick Coupon Books, Glory Days, Flapjack Breakfast, Buffalo Wild Wings to name a few).

Just a reminder that Baby Photo Ads for the Yearbook deadline is this Friday October 23rd. Also the Senior Superlative Sheet and Activities and Favorite Quote need to be turned into Room 600 no later than Friday October 23.
