What Are Consentric Circles?
Developed by Healing Courage, Consentric Circles are guided conversations that center the wisdom of survivors. Designed for survivors by survivors, Consentric Circles explore the impacts of trauma, challenge myths, and reimaginate healing and justice - building trust and community over time.
These circles blend dialogue with mindfulness, somatic practices, art, and reflection to support connection and transformation. More info: healingcourage.org/circles
Who Should Join?
This Fall, our Consentric Circles series is for survivors of sexual and intimate violence (age 50+) who:
- Identify as survivors
- Want to help shape a restorative practices pilot in Jefferson County - a framework for preventing and addressing violence that centers the needs of victim-survivors and prioritizes accountability, healing, and repair.
- Have done some work processing the harm they've experienced, and have some confidence in their ability to stay present in group discussions
If you are a survivor (age 50+) and would like to join the conversation, please fill out the interest form in our profile. We will be in touch!
Financial Support Available
Accessibility and participation stipends are available to help cover transportation, child care, and other needs.
