Big conversations. Bold youth voices. 💚 Join us August 6 as the MSPN Youth Advisory Board takes the stage for Nothing About Us Without Us at the Jefferson County Mental Health Summit. We hope to see you there!

Youth voices are powerful—but they’re even more impactful when they’re given opportunities to lead. This summer, board members Mack, Bryson, and our Youth Advisory Board president, Kheana, had the privilege of presenting a breakout session at the 2026 Missouri Su***de Prevention Conference on behalf of the Missouri Su***de Prevention Network Youth Advisory Board.

Together, we shared the story of how our Youth Advisory Board was formed, reflected on our experiences in su***de prevention advocacy, and discussed practical strategies for organizations looking to create Youth Advisory Boards of their own.

We hope attendees left inspired to move beyond asking youth for feedback and toward creating meaningful partnerships where young people have a voice in shaping programs, initiatives, and their communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and asked all the amazing questions—we’re excited to see youth leadership continue to grow across Missouri. 💛
