Meanwhile, MNEA-R Board Member Beth Ann Roland and Secretary Kate Kraybill welcomed visitors to the membership table, answered questions, and gathered contact information from active members interested in learning more about MNEA-R.
The MNEA-R team distributed packets containing Pre-Retired Membership flyers and CHEER information for 60 local presidents to share at their back-to-school events.
During the closing session, MNEA President Rebeka McIntosh and MNEA Executive Director Dr. Patrick Layden delivered inspiring remarks on the "State of Our Union," highlighting the challenges and opportunities facing public education and our Union.
