Advocating for Missouri’s public schools! 🏫

Last week, NEA Directors Christina Andrade Melly (Ritenour NEA) and DeNae Bush (NKC NEA) traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Congress and advocate for Missouri’s public schools, educators, and students.

Their advocacy included the E-Rate program, which helps schools and libraries access affordable internet and telecommunications services.

Why should you vote "YES" on Amendment 6?

1. It protects the Initiative Petition Process, so "We the People" can still put issues on the ballot for Missourians to vote on.

2. It helps prevent politicians from overturning laws that Missouri citizens voted on and approved.

3. It requires ballot summaries to be clear, easy to understand, unbiased, fair, and accurate.
