Family Success Coach needed in the Jefferson City/California area to provide family services to meet their needs, coach them on their goals, and help them recognize barriers to stability. Will act as an advocate for the families to provide resources and strengthen their support network. Will work in both Cole and Moniteau counties. Pay is $16.31 per hour.

Job Requirements:

Must have general knowledge of family development and social services. Previous work experience as a case manager or social worker is helpful.
Willingness to become certified with a Family Development Credential (FDC) during the first 2 years of employment (paid by employer).
Prefer a related college degree.
Prefer experience working with low-income families.

Wanting to get your child into Head Start?

We are a child care center for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We practice learning through play with the Highscope curriculum! We serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack! Staff are trained in conscious discipline and we are NAEYC accredited. Our hours are Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm and we are open all summer long!

Infant and toddler classroom---
*consistent daily schedule centered around play and learning
*dedicated, loving teachers who are trained to care for children
*Classroom is set up for 8 children (ages 6 weeks to 2 years old) along with 2 teachers and a classroom aid!
*Teachers are required to have a minimum of a child development Associate (CDA) with a preference of a degree
*We provide diapers and wipes for children during the school day
*We provide formula and baby food for children under 12 months
*Price: Only $75 per week (unless you receive child care subsidy)

Preschool Classroom--
*Consistent daily schedule centered around play and learning
*Dedicated, loving teachers that receive training and staff professional development training year round
*Classroom is set up for 15 kids (3-5 years old) along with a teacher, teacher assistant, and aid.
*Teacher is required to have a degree, the assistant is required to have a CDA, and our aid is required to have a HS diploma.
*Price: Only $55 per week (Unless you receive child care subsidy)

The CMCA Cole East Head Start would like to sincerely thank Jefferson City Police Department - Official Homepage, Cole County EMS, and the Jefferson City Fire Department for attending our 100 Man Breakfast. We would also like to thank all of the dads, grandpas, uncles, moms, and friends that were able to come and support their child during the event.

The 100 Man Breakfast is an annual event that we hold to promote positive male role models in the home and in the community! We absolutely love being able to visit with our community's first responders and family members.

The Cole East Head Start offers 2 different program options including our preschool classroom that serves children 3-5 years old as well as our infant and toddler classroom that serves children 0-2 years.
Our hours are Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30pm and we are open year round! Our preschool classroom is $55 per week and our infant and toddler classroom is $75 per week. We also accept child care subsidy as well! We provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack; our infant and toddler classroom also provides all diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food needed throughout the day! We also follow the High Scope curriculum which is based on active learning through the child's interest and choices.

NOW ENROLLING- FREE HOMEBASE / PRENATAL PROGRAM
CMCA Cole County Home Base and CMCA Osage Home Base Program

We are currently taking applications for our prenatal and home based program that has immediate openings .

--We serve prenatal moms and children up to 3 years old in our program.
--Each enrolled family receives a weekly 90 minute visit that focuses on the child's developmental level by providing screenings and new activities each week to help children meet their milestones.
--For our prenatal moms, we have monthly baby showers that are now virtual so they are easy to attend. Each prenatal mom receives a weekly home visit for 60 minutes that focuses on fetal development and prenatal education.
--We also assist families with goal setting such as helping with energy assistance, housing goals, food resources, and medical resources.
--Each month the enrolled family is invited to a group socialization with other enrolled families with fun activities for the child.

We give priority to low income families, homeless families, foster families, SNAP recipient families, or TANF/SSI recipient families.
