Blue sky days matter, too!

When the skies are clear and the headlines are quiet, Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief is still at work.

From training volunteers and maintaining equipment to planning, preparing, and praying for the communities we may one day serve, the work continues even when we’re not deployed.

Because when the next call comes, we want to be ready to bring help, hope, and healing.

Disaster relief starts long before disaster strikes.

Our disaster relief efforts continue on multiple fronts.
We’re thankful for the individuals and teams who have been serving in Connecticut, helping provide meals, showers, assisting after recent flooding, and supporting homeowners as they take the next steps toward restoration.
This team from the Kansas City area is assisting Pablo and his family, whose home was flooded in early August, and then while they were recovering from that, they flooded AGAIN in late September.
As these efforts continue, we are also preparing to send chainsaw volunteers to Florida to assist with Hurricane Isaias recovery.
From flood cleanup to debris removal, our volunteers are answering the call to help neighbors rebuild and recover.
Thank you to everyone who serves, gives, and prays for these response efforts. Together, we can bring hope and practical help to communities in need.
