Join Cody Azotea, Arborist and Account Manager with Focal Pointe, and Robbie Doerhoff, Entomologist and Forest Health Program Coordinator with the Missouri Department of Conservation, for a webinar on all things health of native trees. Some topics to be covered include:

-General health monitoring
-Treating pests and diseases
-Pairing the right tree with the right place
-Proper watering, soil considerations, pruning, and mulching
-Finding and using difficult-to-source and rarely used native species

Southwest Missouri friends:

Nixa and the surrounding communities experienced several strong storms and damaging wind events earlier this summer.

Most folks may have had a chance to cleanup downed limbs and other apparent damage, but there still may be lingering issues that need to be addressed.

The Missouri Department of Conservation will be offering a free presentation open to the public at The X Center in Nixa on August 27th from 6-7 PM on the topic of “Tree Care After the Storm”.

This presentation will give a basic overview for homeowners, landowners, and anyone else interested, on when to save a storm damaged tree, when to have it removed, how to hire an arborist, and building resilient forests for future storms.

All are welcome, and no registration is required for the event. Please share with those in your network who may be interested in attending.
