Community Invited to Meet Rotary District Governor Brad Marten

The Jefferson City Evening Rotary Club invites members of the community to join them on Tuesday, July 28, at 5:30 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 217 Adams St., as they welcome 2026–27 Rotary District Governor Brad Marten.
District Governor Marten will share Rotary International's and the district's goals for the coming year, discuss upcoming service projects, and highlight the impact Rotary makes both locally and around the world.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about Rotary, meet local members, and discover how this international service organization serves the Jefferson City community and communities across the globe.
Everyone is welcome to attend

Nathan Elwood, legislative librarian, recently presented at Jefferson City Evening Rotary’s meeting. Nathan gave a brief history of the documents that are now housed in the Legislative Library on the third floor of the Capitol. He told some wonderful stories, one of which was about Whitehall Moore, our first black legislator. The library is open to the public M-F from 8-5. Nathan invites the public to bring your questions and curiosity as he would love to help you.
