🚨Our economy is in trouble 🚨 Washington keeps siding with billionaires over working people.

Meanwhile, US corporate profit margins sit at their all-time high.

American workers are producing more and keeping less than at any point in history. It’s time for change!

I am proud to announce that my campaign is endorsed by the Missouri AFL-CIO.

It can be easy for office seekers and politicians to say they support working people and unions, but its harder to fight every day for unions and economic justice.

I first joined the labor movement while I was still in high school, when I first became a member of UFCW Local 655 working at Schnucks. As a 20-year old college student and brand new shop steward I helped maintain a strong 24-hour picket line at my store during the 2003 Schnucks lockout, successfully protecting our healthcare benefits.

Over the years I've been on countless picket lines, and demonstrations standing alongside workers fighting for dignity and fair treatment at work, and I will always be there fighting for our rights.

Congratulations to my dear friends at UA Local 178 on the ribbon cutting of their new training facility and on celebrating 120 years of building, piping and serving the Springfield community. We are thankful for the generations of skilled plumbers and pipefitters who have taken care of us since 1905. Congrats! 🎉

“It is a new low, even for corporate interests, to use artificial intelligence to steal our identity and lie to the public,” said Brandon Flinn, business manager for the Missouri-Kansas Laborers District Council (MKLDC). “A computer-generated image doesn’t have a mortgage to pay or groceries to buy, but our members do. To use our symbols to promote a policy that hurts working families is a moral insult and a desperate attempt to manufacture support for a dangerous proposal.”

Tax proposal would have devastating impact on working families By TIM ROWDEN Editor-in-Chief Area unions have sent cease-and-desist letters to the organizers behind the corporate-backed “MO Tax Relief Now” demanding the immediate removal of deceptive, AI-generated posts on their social media.
