Yes! Here’s why:
✔️Businesses, associations, government agencies, and organizations struggle to find modern, professional event space that has the capacity to host statewide and/or regional functions.
✔️ We lose major events to other Midwestern cities with better facilities.
✔️ Hotels, restaurants, and downtown businesses will see a direct boost from conference attendees, and the community as a whole will see indirect economic benefits through increased tax revenue.
Events already happening in Jefferson City could be bigger and better with the right space. Plus, we’ll attract new events that wouldn’t come here otherwise!

📢 The Jefferson City Conference Center is a game-changer. Over the next 12 years, it’s projected to:
✔️ Generate $710M in economic activity
✔️ Create nearly 600 construction jobs
✔️ Bring $19M in annual spending by 2028
✔️ Support 370 permanent jobs
But this project is about more than just numbers—it’s about people. More visitors = more business for local electricians, dry cleaners, food distributors, and event planners. Plus, $13.8M in tax revenue from economic activity helps fund safer roads, better schools, and essential services — without raising taxes on residents.

The Jefferson City Conference Center is more than a vision — it’s a step toward revitalizing our community. With 29,000 square feet of conference space and an additional 10,000 square feet of flexible event space, 200 hotel rooms, and 700 parking spaces, this project will bring jobs, visitors, and new energy to downtown Jefferson City.
