He is 92 years old, and got his vision back!

That huge smile, that's Zeferino.

Everyone around us, the recipients, the volunteers, the translators, realized that Zeferino was now able to see well. He wouldn't stop giggling like a little boy. He stood up - no cane, no help from his daughter - and just started walking on his own towards the cornfield to test his new vision, and he could see it!! Every stalk. Every leaf. He could see it.

The first thing he said to the interpreter after seeing clearly: "are you married?" We all burst out laughing.

But that's not even the BEST PART!

At 92 years old, Zeferino walked over the evangelism area... and he received Jesus in his heart!

He sat there sobbing not only because of the free glasses, but because at 92, God showed him He hadn't forgotten him.

This is VISION 3:16, not only giving away eyeglasses, but presenting eternal life through JesusChrist. This is what we do for the glory of God. Amen.

The Clinic in Chalchuapa is complete. We served 890 people, had 84 salvations and gave away 550 pair of prescription glasses. And at least that many readers.

The totals for the two clinics (Majucla and Chalchuapa) in these last 2 weeks here in El Salvador is 1790 people served 173 people saved and 983 pairs of prescription glasses provides and over 1100 readers given away. There were a total of 10 people who were on there first mission trip.

I praise God for his goodness and the work He did to make this happen.

Day 2 of the Clinic in Chalchuapa was about helping people see both physically and spiritually. We gave away 198 pairs of glasses and had 24 salvations. We will close out the clinic today and look for God to do a mighty work.
