My Father's Arrows My Father’s Arrows is a ministry to orphans with a therapeutic residential program and private school for children from hard places.

We provide advocacy, provision, and support to children affected by the trauma of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. My Father's Arrows is a faith based, community driven, public charity that was birthed out of a longing to serve the children in our local foster system in a greater way. Incorporated and deemed a 501c3 nonprofit in 2014, we provide common permanency and potential for success to children from hard places. By targeting the high risk, high volume population within our local foster system, and focusing on meeting this group's most critical needs, MFA is creating systemic change that not only impacts the youth served, but the community at large. 📢 Important Announcement Regarding Our November Opry 📢

After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our November Opry in the Barn featuring Kelly Crabb and the Bowling Sisters.

Unfortunately, our event barn sustained extensive damage from the recent hurricane, making it unsafe to host this event. We also recognize that our community has been hit incredibly hard, and so many families and businesses will be focused on cleanup and recovery in the weeks and months ahead.

This was certainly not an easy decision. Our Opry is an important fundraiser for My Father’s Arrows, and with the amount of damage we have sustained, those funds are needed now more than ever.

The good news is that we are working with Kelly Crabb to bring her back for our Spring Opry! Dates and additional details will be announced as plans are finalized.

If you were planning to attend and make a donation during this event, we ask that you prayerfully consider donating to our **Hurricane Recovery Fund** instead. Your generosity would be such a blessing as we begin the long road to recovery.

The storm has passed, but the road to recovery is just beginning. ❤️

As we continue assessing the damage, our initial estimates are reaching $250,000 in damages and losses, much of which will not be covered by insurance.

It’s an overwhelming road ahead, but we’ve seen God make a way before, and we’re trusting Him to do it again!

We have had so many people reaching out for updates on the children’s home. Here’s a little glimpse into what we are dealing with here.

Everyone is safe. God has been so very good to us!

It’s certainly challenging to feed 60 people without power, but we are so thankful to have nice weather and water! 🙌

God is so good, and kept His hand of protection over us! 🙌

We are incredibly thankful to report that all of our children, staff, and animals are safe. While we have had significant property damage, our main children’s home is sound, other than some leaks. We are so grateful! Buildings can be repaired, equipment can be replaced, but our children cannot. And for that, we give God all the glory! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for our children, reached out, and checked in on My Father’s Arrows!

We are still assessing our damage and navigating operations without power. We will post more updates in coming days and we understand this clean up, repair, and rebuilding will be a long, ongoing process for MFA and our surrounding community.

🙏 Please Keep My Father’s Arrows in Your Prayers!

As we prepare for the approaching hurricane, our hearts and prayers are with everyone who may be impacted by this storm. We are praying for safety and protection over every family, home, and community in its path.

We also ask that you please keep our children, staff, and animals in your prayers during this time.

Our team has been working hard and taking extensive precautions to prepare for the storm and ensure the safety of everyone in our care. The safety and well-being of our children and staff will always be our top priority.

Once the storm has passed and it is safe to do so, we will share updates on how My Father’s Arrows has been impacted. Depending on the damage, we may also be reaching out to our amazing community for help with cleanup and recovery efforts.

We are so thankful for the love, prayers, and support that surround this ministry. We know that no matter what this storm brings, God is faithful, and we are trusting Him through it all.
