VFW Post 3335 We are located at 64 Jewell Street in Jay. Member meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 6. Tues-Friday post opens at 2.

We host Tuesday night cribbage at 6 and a Friday night meal from 5-6 dine in or take out. For hall rentals call 897-5112.

🇺🇸 Congratulations to Auxiliary Member Kimberly Cote! 🇺🇸

Kimberly is one of those people who is always there, always helping, and always bringing positive energy to the Post! ❤️

Just a few ways she helps at the post!

Helped fixed the women’s bathroom faucet!
🎟️ Helped coordinate the sale of 100 tickets for our r***e raffle in less than 72 hours!
💰 Sells 50/50 tickets during our events
📣 Makes announcements and helps keep our events running smoothly
🍳 Volunteers in the kitchen
💃 Brings the party with her dance moves and that great smile!
📝 Keeps our whiteboards updated so everyone knows what’s happening at the Post with her artistic touch!
🙋‍♀️ Is always encouraging people to join the Auxiliary
❤️ And perhaps most importantly, she is always asking, “What can I do to help?”

That attitude is exactly what makes our VFW and Auxiliary successful. Kimberly doesn’t wait to be asked—she sees what needs to be done and jumps right in!

🎨 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT THE JAY VFW! 🇺🇸

The Jay VFW Post 3335 is looking for area Scouts and high school students who need to complete volunteer or community service hours.

We’d love to have young volunteers come out, lend a hand with giving our BBQ PIT a fresh coat of paint, and help make a difference at our Post and in our community! 🇺🇸

If you’re interested, please 897-5112 to set up a time to volunteer.

This is a great opportunity to earn volunteer hours while supporting your local VFW! ❤️🤍💙

AND if you are a Scout working on an Eagle Scout project or in a Scout troop participating in community service, we would be happy to support you. Please reach out to discuss your project and how we may be able to help.

— Cribbage starts at 6 PM and Gigi’s Food Truck will be here from 4–7 PM! 🌭🍔 The public is welcome!

Wednesday — Stop In & Take Care of Business. Need to fill out a hall rental form, complete a membership application, or make a donation toward our paving project? Wednesday is a perfect time to stop in and see us!

Thursday — LAST CRUISE-IN OF THE SEASON! Join us from 5–8 PM for our final cruise-in of the year.
Tex Mex Food truck will be here serving up the food!

🎤🍕 FRIDAY NIGHT — KARAOKE & PIZZA! DJ Scott takes over from 6–9 PM for karaoke! And we’ll have pizza from Gigi’s Pizzaroni. 🍕

Here’s the really great part: both DJ Scott and Gigi’s Pizzaroni are donating everything back to help us pay for our paving project! There will be a $10 cover charge, with 100% of the cover going toward the cost of our paving project. Come out, have some fun, eat some great food, sing a few songs—and help us finish paying for that parking lot!

The Jay VFW is in a shell-ebratory mood! Wayne Yeaton has announced that he’s bringing the coast of Maine back to Jay Maine again for one special Saturday in September!

Put on your calendar September 12th from 12–2 p.m., we’ll be serving a delicious lobster feed complete with all the sides and dessert.

• Single lobster meal: $30
• Twin lobster meal: $40

Cash only payment or a check if you’re a reoccurring customer.

Craving a little butter therapy? We’ll be serving 250 lobsters, so don’t wait! Reserve your meal in advance by calling 897-5112. Walk-ins are welcome while supplies last, but reservations are the best way to guarantee your lobster feast.

Anyone wishing to assist with the cooking is welcome. We’ll need propane, large pots, blueberry cakes, kitchen help and more!

Don’t be shellfish—reserve your meal today, share this post with your friends, and help us spread the word!

Lobster meals are takeout only! However, the post will be open for cold beverages from 10 to 4. Sorry for the corny post but yes there will be corn! 🌽
