I turned plastic bottles into a mini seed starter greenhouse 🌱♻️

I 3D printed the seed starters in Bambu Lab PLA, reused plastic bottles for the greenhouse, then used the new Bambu Lab R1 CO₂ laser to cut the 3mm acrylic “glass” panels and 3mm wood frame.

The R1 made this build ridiculously clean and easy. Huge thanks to Bambu Lab for sending the R1!

I made a custom clock using plastic bottles and wood 🕰️

The frame was 3D printed from a recycled soda bottle and PETG, with laser-cut wooden details made on the Bambu Lab H2C. I wanted this build to feel simple, clean, and functional while still showing what recycled material can become.

I turned recycled plastic bottles into a wall-mounted hanger ♻️

I made the printed components entirely from recycled bottles, adding color with a black Sharpie. To elevate the design, I incorporated a 3 mm cork center that I laser-cut for a more refined finish.

I completed both the 3D printing and laser cutting using my Bambu Lab H2C.

I turned food and plastic waste into something useful 🌱♻️

Genuinely one of the coolest ways I’ve seen to close the loop. Food waste → Food Grounds → compost → back into growing your own food. Perfect for Earth Day 🌍

My friends over at sent me their food recycler, so we put it to the test. Everything from food scraps to garden waste went straight in.

What surprised me most was how simple it is. It runs quietly, doesn’t smell, and breaks everything down into clean, nutrient-rich, shelf-stable Food Grounds.

After the grounds had time to break down, we mixed them into our garden beds and started replanting. I added custom plant markers and a small trowel I 3D printed from recycled plastic to finish it off.

Really cool way to rethink what waste can become.
