I turned food and plastic waste into something useful 🌱♻️

Genuinely one of the coolest ways I’ve seen to close the loop. Food waste → Food Grounds → compost → back into growing your own food. Perfect for Earth Day 🌍

My friends over at sent me their food recycler, so we put it to the test. Everything from food scraps to garden waste went straight in.

What surprised me most was how simple it is. It runs quietly, doesn’t smell, and breaks everything down into clean, nutrient-rich, shelf-stable Food Grounds.

After the grounds had time to break down, we mixed them into our garden beds and started replanting. I added custom plant markers and a small trowel I 3D printed from recycled plastic to finish it off.

Really cool way to rethink what waste can become.

I turned a plastic bottle into Valentine’s Day heart containers ❤️

A fun little project and a sweet way to reuse waste. Hope everyone has a great Valentine’s Day!

I printed a pistachio bowl from recycled filament (PLA + bottle plastic).

The shell holds the pistachios, and the center compartment is where the empty shells go.
Snack → drop → repeat.

My first project on the Core One 🙌
Huge thanks to Prusa for sending this machine — had to put it straight to work.

If you are interested in the STL comment pistachio!

Quick note: this was made for fun, always use caution when 3D printing items that contact food and research safe materials first.
