After sheering the alpacas this spring, we gave our neighbor, Faye, a big bag of (messy!) alpaca fiber. To our surprise and joy.. she shipped it to a weaver on the Isle of Lewis (Outer Hebrides) in Scotland where they cleaned it and spun it into yarn.

Faye just wrote us FROM SCOTLAND where she has been learning how to use a historic loom to weave rugs. And now the OMG moment-- she made us a rug using our alpacas' fiber! We are crazy touched and giddy to add this incredible gift to our home and to our story here at Forever Young.
