📢 WEDNESDAY EVENING FOOD PICKUP AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH JASPER!

CARES for Pickens County offers Wednesday evening food distribution to help individuals and families in our community who need assistance.

🚨 IMPORTANT: REGISTRATION DEADLINE! 🚨

⏰ You MUST register by 12:00 NOON on TUESDAY to receive food on Wednesday evening!

✅ Registration is required EVERY WEEK.

📅 WHEN: Every Wednesday Evening
🕕 PICKUP TIME: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 WHERE: First Baptist Church Jasper

Today is Community Open House at Cares for Pickens County from 1 PM to 3 PM. We are celebrating 20 years serving the Pickens County community in our building at 89 Cares Dr in Jasper. Come drop by and see us today from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

💚 LOOK WHAT OUR COMMUNITY MADE POSSIBLE!

Every number represents a neighbor. A family. A child. A senior. Someone right here in Pickens County who needed a little help.

This month, together, we:

🏠 Served 1,113 households
👧 Served 606 children
👵 Served 663 seniors
🍎 Distributed 42,486 pounds of food
❤️ Provided $8,539 in emergency financial assistance

None of this happens without an incredibly generous community of volunteers, donors, churches, businesses and community partners who continue to step up and help their neighbors.

Tomorrow September 30th at Cares is produce day. Come see us from 9 AM until noon at 89 Cares Dr. to get some fresh produce.
