Our neighbors need us, and a few extra items in your grocery cart can make a real difference for families right here in Pickens County.

🎒📚 BACK-TO-SCHOOL FOOD DRIVE 📚🎒

As students across Pickens County head back to the classroom, many local families are stretching every dollar to cover school supplies, clothes, and other back-to-school expenses. Together, we can help ensure they also have nutritious meals waiting at home.

This week through August 21st, CARES is asking our amazing community to help stock our shelves with these 7 high-need pantry items:

🥜 Peanut Butter
🥫 Canned Chicken or Tuna
🌽 Canned Vegetables
🍝 Pasta
🍅 Pasta Sauce
🥣 Cereal or Instant Oatmeal
🥛 Shelf-Stable Milk

Every jar, can, box, or bag you donate helps provide hope and nourishment to a neighbor in need. Small donations truly make a big impact.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at CARES (89 Cares Drive) during our regular business hours. (9:00am to Noon Monday -Friday)

Thank you for being a community that cares. Together, we can help local children and families start the school year with one less worry.
