Join Cub Scout Pack 20

Pack 20 had a great “Meet The Pack” event at the Scout Hut on Sunday. Pack leaders provided orientation to new scout families and signed up more scouts. Plus we made some s'mores around our fire pit. We have registered 16 new scouts in August. It’s not too late for a scout to join. Families with youth ages K-5th grade can join on-line at link - https://beascout.scouting.org/units/611fc2f0-d55f-4383-9a3c-56937df56ebb

Spooky-ree is a fantastic fall weekend camping adventure for the whole family, sponsored by Atlanta Area Council, at Bert Adams Scout Camp. Pack 20 invites families to attend Weekend 1, October 9-11.

The Bird family attended in 2025 and thought it was a great event. Allison Bird explained, "We had so much fun last year at Spooky-ree that Finn begged to go again this year. It is just for Cub Scouts and their families (siblings too). The whole campground is set up with activities like fishing, rock wall climbing, arts and crafts, games, inflatables, and a haunted trail that is not scary but fun! You can also earn archery and BB Adventure Loops/Pins that you can’t earn anywhere else but with a certified Rangemaster at a Scout event like this.

But Finn’s favorite group activity besides archery and BBs, was the big bonfire Monster Mash party at the end of the last night. It was a lot of fun for all 3 of us.

We are planning to go during Week 1 which is October 9-11. Finn hopes some of his friends will be able to go with him this year!"

Please see link for more information and registration: https://www.campbertadams.org/spookyree

Registration for Week 1 starts July 15th. Please contact a pack leader so we can track attendees.
