Appalachian Cattlemen's Association Appalachian Cattlemen's Association (ACA) is a local chapter of the Georgia Cattlemen's Association covering Gilmer, Pickens and Cherokee Counties.

The ACA is the chapter of the Georgia Cattlemen's Association covering Gilmer, Pickens and Cherokee Counties. Our organization is a networking tool for cattle producers in our area. Every other month we get together for fellowship and to be educated on current topics in the cattle industry. Every year we put on a heifer show for the youth in our area and we also award scholarships to individuals t

A great time tonight raising money for our Scholarship Fund! A total of $3300 was raised to asssist young people pursuing further education in an Agriculture Related Field. Appreciation to Wayside Animal Hospital for the meal, Nelson Tractor for the Raffle Donation, Mrs. Yeteva Frye for the Pound Cake and our generous members for the silent auction items.

Congratulations to lucky winners Don Keeter for winning the Gun and John Pettit, Sr. for the winning the Stihl Farm Boss Chainsaw.
