Strings is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to providing professional violin and viola instruction according to the Suzuki method in south-central Indiana. was founded in Dubois County with seventeen students and one part-time instructor. Today the program serves over 75 violin and viola students from Dubois, Spencer, Martin, Orange and Gibson Counties, ranging in age from 3 years old to a

dult. Strings, Inc.’s success and continued growth has been achieved in part through numerous free demonstration programs, presented annually to local elementary schools by both students and instructors. Unlike larger city schools that offer an orchestra program, no local school district provides any string instrument education. The Strings program aims to fill this void and it currently serves as the only organized string music education program in the Dubois, Spencer, Pike and Martin County areas.

Join us tomorrow as the private lesson students of Strings, Inc. present their final spring recital of the season.

Tomorrow evening is an opportunity to celebrate their growth and enjoy an evening of music shared with the community.

The recital is open to the public, and we would love to see you there as we support these young musicians and celebrate another wonderful season of music-making! 🎶

Join us as students of Strings, Inc. take the stage to share what they’ve been working on this season.

These recitals are a meaningful part of each student’s musical journey — a chance to build confidence, celebrate progress, and share music with the community.

If you’re unable to attend tomorrow, there will be another opportunity next Saturday at 6:00 pm with additional students performing.
