Join us Friday, October 16, 2026, at Fairways of Canton in Canton, Georgia for a day of golf with a purpose much bigger than the scorecard.

Every team, sponsor, and supporter helps SLF continue serving veterans and first responders facing PTS(d), personal struggles, and su***de through peer support and outdoor experiences.

Today is National Nonprofit Day, and I want to take a minute to recognize the people who make Shepherd’s Light Foundation possible.

Shepherd’s Light doesn’t happen because of one person. It happens because people believe in this mission enough to stand behind it. The people who donate, volunteer, pray for us, partner with us, share what we do, and encourage us are the reason we’re able to keep showing up for veterans and first responders.

Our mission is standing beside those who are fighting battles most people will never see. It’s creating a place where real conversations can happen, where people can find brotherhood, and where hope in Christ is always at the center.

There is still a lot of work ahead of us, and there are still people who need to know they aren’t alone. But when I look at how far God has brought Shepherd’s Light, I also see every person He has placed alongside us to help carry this mission.

So today, on National Nonprofit Day, I simply want to say THANK YOU. Whether you’ve given your time, your resources, your prayers, or your support, you are part of Shepherd’s Light and the work being done.

And to every nonprofit out there doing the work when nobody is watching, keep showing up. The work isn’t always seen, but it matters.

If you know a veteran or first responder who is struggling, or if that person is you, this Christ centered retreat offers hope, healing, purpose, and brotherhood in the outdoors.
