We still need a few more girls in the 7-8 girls age group to ensure a four team league. If you would still like your daughter to play, please come by the Community Center no later than this Friday at 5:00 PM and sign her up. We are currently full in all the other age groups.

Also, due to the homecoming parade on Monday we are moving skill evals to the following days:

7-8 Boys & Girls-Tuesday, Oct 20th @ 5:30 PM

9-10 Boys &Girls-Wednesday, Oct 21st @5:30 PM

11-12 Boys-Thursday, Oct 22nd @5:30 PM

Player draft will be immediately following the skill evaluations and we look forward to seeing everyone next week.

PCRD will be closed on Monday for Columbus Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, October 13 at 8:00 AM. Thanks.

Due to overnight storms, the Community Center will be closed for the day. We will now try and open up at 8:00 AM on Sunday, October 11th 2026. Please exercise caution when traveling and stay safe.

Pickens County Government Offices will be closed Monday, October 12th in observation of Columbus Day. We will return to normal business hours on Tuesday, October 13th!

All Tackle Football games for October 10th, 2026 in Lumpkin County have been postponed due to the incoming weather. They will be made up on 10/17/26. More information to come, so stay tuned and be safe this weekend.

Today is the last day of Basketball Registration for the 2026/2027 Season. After 9:00 PM tonight, no registrations will be accepted. Fees for 4-6 year old Instructional League are now $45 and 7-8 year old and above is $85. Skills evaluation will be on October 19th, 20th and 22nd. All practices can start no sooner than October 26th.

The 11-12 Girls age group will still be a 3v3 league. After the success of last year and with the High Schools guidance, we will be continuing that in 2026. Please be aware when signing your daughter up.

We are offering 13-14 Boys and Girls Basketball, but only if we have a coach and enough kids to make a team. Travel is mandatory for this age group, so please be aware.

Games will tentatively start December 5th, 2026. For questions please call the Community Center at 706-253-8862 or 706-253-8863. More information to come, so please stay tuned and spread the word.
