What is C.A.S.T?

C.A.S.T. event is designed to provide children with special needs, ages 6 – 18, the opportunity to enjoy a morning of fishing with a boat captain. This is NOT a tournament. It’s a morning being a Big Buddy to a child with special abilities. The child will have their guardian/parent with them in the boat.

Event timeline...
• Boat Captains arrive at 7:00AM
• Boat Captian meeting 7:30AM
• Children arrive at 8:00AM and the pairing with children and boat captains begins.
• All boats are back no later than 11:00AM.
• Lunch will be served.
• When the last child arrives back the most beautiful award ceremony begins. Boat captains and children will come up one at a time to the stage and receive a plaque with a picture of boat captain and child.
• Then goodbyes till next year.

It’s that time to help fund C.A.S.T for Kids Smith Lake Park. This day only happens because of YOU!

30 CHILDREN with SPECIAL ABILITIES get to have an EXTRA EPIC fishing day because of YOU.

Every DOLLAR is beyond appreciated because this event CAN NOT happen without YOU. This day is fully funded because of you. What does the money go towards? Here we go... shirts, hats, fishing poles, tackle boxes, hooks, weights, bobbers, pictures for plaques, beautiful award plaques, drinks, pizza, and that’s just some of the event fees.

Help Improve the Field of Miracles and bring Smiles to Faces this Giving Season 🎁

⚾️⚾️⚾️ During this season of giving, the CPRST Foundation is asking our community to help raise funds for the field replacement project at the Field of Miracles.

The Miracle League program hosts participants with special needs, affecting 300 plus children as well as adults ranging from ages 4 to 74. Consider helping us put smiles on the faces of these very deserving individuals!

- 20 skateboard volunteers, bring your set up.
- non-skate volunteers to manage group stations (fitting & cleaning helmets between each participant, pairing children with skate instructors, specialists trained in transitions with special needs, art & creative stations, etc.)

-Families of children with Autism, adhd, add, pdd-nos, sensory disorder, speech delays, developmental delays, etc. please sign up each participant individually, including siblings.

We are still living on a spiritual high from Saturday's C.A.S.T event and are still blown away by the love. TowBoatUS Smith Lake came out with a boat to assist if anyone needed help and let the kids on board.

They also made the 1st donation to start the planning for the 2023 Smith lake Park event.

We are so appreciative of the sponsors. Without them, there would be no event.
