Jasper FFA attended the District Greenhand Conference on January 8th. Students watched a skit where the Incredibles saved FFA, learned about opportunities in FFA, and met with other FFA members from across Southwest District.

Barnwarming is tonight! 8pm-1030pm in the Ag Shop. Parents of candidates are welcome to join us for the games and coronation at 8pm. Good luck, candidates!

The Jasper FFA had an amazing trip to Indianapolis for National FFA Convention. A rainy trip on Wednesday led us to a quick stop in Casey, IL for checking out some of the Worlds Largest things... An awesome concert with Ella Langley and Ernest followed. Then, Thursday was a full of sessions, leadership workshops, and time at the Expo and Career Show. Afterwards, we had a nice Hibachi dinner and went bowling! Friday was a full day of touring some local agribusiness. We made a stop at Beasley Orchard and Ozark Fisheries to see what they do. Our final activity was the Friday night rodeo which saw lots of ba****ck riding, saddlebronc riding, and bull riding! Saturday morning saw 2 of our 4 American Degree recipients walk across the stage to get the Golden Key. Congratulations, Parker and Madelyn! We greatly appreciate your continued support to allow us to give a large group of students an opportunity like this.

Jasper FFA Greenhands attended the Area Greenhand Conference in Joplin today. Students went to different sessions led by the Area Officer Team to learn about all that FFA has to offer!

Last week, a bus load of Jasper FFA members took the yearly canoe/kayak trip down the mighty Elk River! The river was perfect for floating and it wasn't too hot! Luckily, not too many kids with sunburns this year. Thanks for making it a great trip, kids! Parents, we've got an album of pictures if you'd like to see them, just ask for the link.

Thank you to Audrey and Aubrey for helping with the "Purple People Feeder" today. This mobile food pantry makes appearances all across the area. Thank you for stopping in Jasper!
