World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) is observed annually on June 15. The 2026 UN observance will be marked by a special event at UN Headquarters in New York on June 11, focusing on the theme "Beyond Awareness: Making Elder Abuse Prevention Work". This global initiative highlights the critical need to identify, prevent, and respond to the physical, psychological, and financial abuse or neglect of older adults. Be sure to show your support by wearing purple that day 💜💜💜

Positive Maturity is please to introduce our new RSVP Director, Regina Allison.
Regina is a seasoned nonprofit professional with over 25 years of experience dedicated to serving and strengthening communities. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact through effective program leadership, community engagement, and service.
Her expertise includes grant management, development and oversight of volunteer programs, and building collaborative partnerships that drive sustainable results.
In addition to her professional work, she is an active volunteer within her community and church. Her dedication and service have been recognized with honors such as Woman of the Year and Friend of Children.

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2026. This day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
