Keep Jasper Beautiful Keep Texas Beautiful affiliate. Our KJB volunteers work to reduce litter, educate, and beautify the city. KJB provides supplies and arranges for disposal.

WE are a Partnership with the City of Jasper, Jasper County, Jasper Master Gardeners, Longleaf Master Naturalists & surrounding communities. KJB hosts cleanup events such as The Great American Cleanup (spring) and Fall Sweep (fall) in which volunteers from the community gather to pick up litter on the roadsides. We partner with the Jasper Master Gardeners and the Longleaf Ridge Master Naturalists to care for the Jasper Arboretum and teach programs on environmental education. Our goal at our events is to bring multiple community groups and individuals together to make our city a better place to live.

Jasper TX Community Bulletin

Nearly $5 million in funding has been awarded to 118 rural volunteer fire departments across Texas through the Rural Volunteer Fire Department Assistance Program.

The funding will help departments purchase firefighting apparatus, fire and rescue equipment, protective clothing and other resources needed to serve their communities.

Rural volunteer fire departments are often the first to respond when wildfires and other emergencies occur. Through this program, Texas A&M Forest Service provides funding to help departments across the state strengthen their response capabilities.
