We flourish because our community continues to say YES.

YES to showing up.
YES to sharing your gifts.
YES to teaching a skill.
YES to mentoring a young person.
YES to opening doors and creating opportunities.

YES to believing that when we invest in people, families and communities become stronger.

Today, we want to say THANK YOU to our incredible community collaborators who have donated their time, talents, knowledge, creativity, and skills to help The Healing House grow and our programs flourish. ❤️

✨ F.L.A.M.E.S. Ambassador Spotlight Series - The Final Chapter... and the Beginning of Many More ✨

Over the past few weeks, you've met our 🔥 F.L.A.M.E.S. Ambassadors.

Future educators.
Future nurses.
Future scientists.
Future pilots.
Future healthcare professionals.

Each story is unique, but together they reveal something beautiful.
None of these dreams began with certainty.

They began with exposure—the opportunity to try something new, discover hidden gifts, explore the arts, build leadership skills, and experience possibilities they may never have encountered otherwise.

They grew through community—friendships that became family, mentors who believed in them, and community collaborators who poured into their lives.

And they were strengthened by confidence—the confidence to step into purpose, to lead with compassion, and to choose lives centered on serving others.

Before sending our Ambassadors into this next season, we gathered one last time.

Each student received a permanent gold linked bracelet.

Not simply as jewelry...
But as a reminder.

That they are forever connected.

Connected by shared experiences.
Connected by encouragement.
Connected by growth.
Connected by purpose.

Just like the links in each bracelet, every mentor, volunteer, donor, community partner, and friend has become part of their story. No single link tells the whole story—but together, they create something strong, beautiful, and enduring.

These bracelets remind our Ambassadors that no matter where life leads—to classrooms, hospitals, laboratories, cockpits, mission fields, or communities across the world—they never walk alone.

The bonds formed at 🏡 The Healing House cannot be measured by time or distance.

They are carried forward in every life they touch.

The Healing House honors the life of Sandra Phillips. 🤍

A friend. A life. A presence in this community that mattered.

Just days ago, Sandra became The Healing House’s 1,000th follower—a milestone we had been sitting just one person away from for more than a year. Now, that number will forever carry her name and remind us that behind every number is a person with a life, a story, people who love them, and a space in this world that can never truly be filled.

As our community mourns such a great loss, we are reminded that grief touches every part of us. The loss of someone we love can leave families with questions, pain, anger, confusion, and a heaviness that is difficult to carry alone.

At The Healing House, we want our community to know that you do not have to walk through those moments alone.

Skilled in grief and marriage & family counseling, we provide a safe and compassionate space for individuals, couples, and families to process loss, navigate difficult seasons, strengthen relationships, and begin the journey toward healing and wholeness.

Sometimes healing begins by simply having a safe place to tell your story.
Sometimes it begins with someone sitting beside you in the pain.
Sometimes, asking for help is the first step toward finding your way forward.

In honor of Sandra, may we hold those we love a little closer. May we check on one another. May we listen more carefully. And may we remember that seeking help is not weakness—it is an act of courage.

✨ F.L.A.M.E.S. Ambassador Spotlight Series featuring Haley Sherer!

It's hard to believe how far this journey has taken me! Today, I'm proud to be a flight instructor at Sanders Aviation ✈️ and at the youngest age possible! Even more exciting, I'm the youngest flight instructor Sanders Aviation has ever had. It's an accomplishment that very few people reach this early, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity.

I'm currently a junior at Liberty University ❤️🤍💙, where I'm earning my Bachelor of Science in Aviation. Since I work full-time as a flight instructor, I complete my classes online while continuing to build my experience in the air. My goal is to continue logging flight hours and, one day, fly for a Medevac company, serving others through aviation when they need it most. 🌎

🥾🏕️🏊🏻‍♀️🎶 When I'm not flying, you'll usually find me hiking, camping, swimming, or playing music. Those moments help keep me grounded while I chase big dreams.

❤️ One thing I'll always cherish about 🔥 F.L.A.M.E.S. Integrated Arts Leadership Program is how welcoming and comfortable it was. It was a place where I could truly be myself, express myself in so many different ways, and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

🫶🏻 Thank you, 🏡 The Healing House, for believing in me and giving me a place where I could grow into who I was created to be. I'll carry those lessons and relationships with me wherever life takes me.

✨ F.L.A.M.E.S. Ambassador Spotlight Series featuring Charleigh Pounds!

I'm excited to share that I'll be attending 🌊 Coastal Alabama ❤️🤍Community College, where I'll be majoring in Nursing! My dream is to become a missionary travel 🩺 nurse, combining my passion for serving others with my love for sharing God's love around the world. I'm also honored to serve as a Coastal Ambassador, representing my college and helping welcome future students to campus. Go, Yotes!

I love spending time at church, hanging out with my friends, and traveling whenever I get the chance. These are the moments that keep me encouraged and remind me how much I enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life. 🌎

I'm incredibly thankful for my time with The Healing House's 🔥 F.L.A.M.E.S. Integrated Arts Leadership Program. It challenged me to grow, discover new strengths, and become part of something much bigger than myself.

❤️ What I'll miss most is the amazing community 🏡 The Healing House brought into my life. The friendships, mentors, and memories I've made here have left a lasting impact, and I'll always be grateful for the love and encouragement I've received along the way.

✨ FLAMES Ambassador Spotlight Series featuring Miley Nix!

I'm looking forward to attending 💚💛 The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) 🐉 where I'll be majoring in 🩺 Neuroscience while completing the Pre-Health track. I'm excited to see where this journey leads and to continue pursuing my goals.

📕 When I'm not studying, I enjoy spending time with my friends, reading a good book, and watching movies. Those are some of my favorite ways to relax and recharge.

Looking back, I'm so thankful for my time with 🏡 The Healing House's 🔥 F.L.A.M.E.S. Integrated Arts Leadership Program. It gave me opportunities to grow, build confidence, and create memories I'll always cherish.

❤️ What I'll miss most are all the fun activities and, especially, the incredible people I had the chance to meet along the way. The friendships, experiences, and encouragement I received have made a lasting impact on my life.

As I begin this exciting new chapter, I'm looking forward to attending
🐻 Bevill State Community College 💚💙 in Jasper, where I'll be majoring in English as I begin my journey toward a career in English Education. I'm excited to continue learning and preparing for the opportunity to inspire future students through teaching.

📚 Outside of school, I love reading, baking, spending time with my family, and serving the Lord. You'll most often find me at Desperation Church, where my faith continues to shape who I am and the way I live each day.

Looking back, I'm so thankful for my time with The Healing House's 🏡 🔥 F.L.A.M.E.S. Integrated Arts Leadership Program. It gave me opportunities to grow, build confidence, and step into experiences I never expected.

❤️ What I'll miss most is getting to meet so many incredible people and learning new skills every month. Every activity challenged me to grow, and every friendship made the journey even more meaningful.

✨ FLAMES Ambassador Spotlight Series featuring Ary Adair!

As I close one chapter and step into the next, I'm excited to share that I'll be attending the 💜💛 University of North Alabama, where I'll be majoring in Environmental Biology and performing with the UNA Marching Band!

The Healing House 🏡 has been such an important part of my journey. Through the F.L.A.M.E.S. Integrated Arts Leadership Program, I discovered interests and opportunities I never would have explored on my own. It encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, try new things, and helped me grow into the person I am today.

Outside of school, I love writing ✍🏼 for fun and watching movies I can analyze and dissect. I've always enjoyed looking beneath the surface, whether it's in nature, storytelling, or life.

❤️ What I'll miss most about The Healing House is the constant opportunity to discover new activities and experiences. It opened so many doors for me and inspired me to keep learning, creating, and exploring.

🫶🏻 Thank you to everyone at The Healing House for believing in me, investing in me, and helping shape my future. I'll always be proud to be a F.L.A.M.E.S. Ambassador, and I can't wait to see where this next adventure takes me!
