🎨 ART PARTY IS BACK! 🎉

Every other year, the Walker County Arts Alliance brings together artists, art lovers, and our community for Art Party, and we’re getting ready to do it again November 12th!

Artists, we supply the canvas. You bring the creativity!

Participating artists will receive a canvas to transform however they’d like. Paint it, draw on it, collage it, get weird with it. Make it yours! Finished pieces will be auctioned at Art Party, with all proceeds supporting our in-school arts programs in Walker County.

And here’s a little perk for participating artists: you get into Art Party for FREE! Come enjoy an evening of art, live music, catering, w**e and b**r, and good company while helping us keep the arts in our schools.

Our current gallery exhibition, 3 1/2 Hours in the Sipsey Wilderness by Shannon Bourn, will be on view through August 21, and we’d love for you to join us as we celebrate the show with a Closing Reception from 5:00–7:00 PM.

If you haven’t made it into the gallery yet, now is the perfect time! This has been such a wonderful show, and we want to make sure you have a chance to see it before it comes down.

The Walker County Arts Alliance invites the community to celebrate the final evening of 3 1/2 Hours in the Sipsey Wilderness, a solo exhibition by Alabama artist Shannon Bourn, with a Closing Reception on Friday, August 21, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
