The Torsch Foundation just picked up the last of the donations. The van was stocked to the top.
I was able to gift them $900 leftover to put towards their heating fund.

These awesome bookbags were donated by a group at Christ Our King Presbyterian Church. They are individualized by gender and clothing size. That's a warm fuzzy sweatshirt on the bottom and a blanket rolled up.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help with my project day. Together our work added up to 189 hours in 1 afternoon.

Tomorrow Sunday 2/15 is my Service Project Day. Come join us from noon until we are finished.
There is something for all ages and abilities to do. Sort & organize, set up & inspect tents, inspect & repair camping equipment, assemble blessing/comfort bags.
Donuts, OJ, and coffee to start us off.

This is the last week for any donations. Project day is Sunday 2/15 at St. Marks. We will start loading in all the donations at 12pm. Feel free to drop more off, or stay and help assemble Comfort/Blessing Bags, sort clothing, set up and inspect tents with us. We are still in need of deodorant, toothpaste, small toiletries. And there are can never be enough handwarmers.

The Torsch Foundation reached out and said that they are in dire need of hats gloves and blankets right now. Handwarmers and warm coats are helpful as well. While digging thru your closets for warm layers before plowing and shoveling, please consider donating any gloves and hats that you no longer wear. The foundation has reached out and are in need of hot hands/hand warmers. They do eventually expire, so if you have ones at home that you won't be using soon - send them our way. They are also sold at the Dollar Tree and on the Amazon wish list.
