Have you noticed the work being done on the grounds of the Millard and Florence Stith Community Center in Jarratt? Thanks to the generous support of the Obici Healthcare Foundation, we have been able to make many upgrades over the winter to our outdoor recreational facilities, including the addition of bleachers near the tennis and basketball courts, the replacement of playground equipment, and the addition of exercise stations. These facilities, along with our mindfulness walking trail and gazebos, are available to the entire community.

Lifelong Jarratt resident Joyce Mason lives within walking distance of the Millard and Florence Stith Community Center. After seeing the improvements being made outdoors on the community center grounds, she decided to start volunteering for CCSV events and activities. This included the Thanksgiving and Christmas meals during the holiday season and, most recently, the dinner to honor CCSV volunteers. Below, Joyce explains why she supports CCSV and its important work.
