Ms. Mullooly’s Introduction to Agriculture class, combined with Parker’s class, had a great opportunity to learn more about various aspects of the agriculture industry on Tuesday. We visited Skelly’s Farm Market and learned about fruit, vegetable, and pumpkin production. Then we traveled to Apple Hut and students learned about apple production. Lastly, the Alpaca Pines Farm crew taught students about fiber mills and each person made yarn with alpaca fleece, and were able to interact with alpacas, sheep, and a llama! Thank you to all three of these businesses for their time and hosting us, students learned so much through hands-on experiences!
