🚨 DUCK HUNTERS — THIS IS URGENT🚨

The USFWS is considering weakening protections for the Prairie Pothole Region—the breeding grounds that produce roughly half to two-thirds of North America’s ducks. If these protections are rolled back, expanded drain tiling could drain critical shallow wetlands already suffering from drought, with lasting impacts on duck populations, migration, and the future of our hunting seasons.

Duck hunters paid for these conservation easements with Duck Stamp dollars. We need to defend that investment.

Only 10,000 comments have been submitted so far. That’s not nearly enough. The deadline is August 7. Please take two minutes to submit a comment using the link below.

A record-breaking year for Delta Waterfowl Chapters.

Thanks to the dedication of more than 6,300 volunteers across North America, Delta Waterfowl raised a record $16.1 million through chapter fundraising events during the 2025–2026 fiscal year.

This milestone reflects the incredible commitment of our chapter volunteers and supporters who continue to drive our mission to produce ducks and secure the future of waterfowl hunting.

The U.S. House has passed the Farm, Food, and National Securities Act of 2026, a key step forward for conservation and the future of ducks and duck hunting.

Farm Bill programs support vital habitat, from CRP nesting cover in the Prairie Pothole Region to Wetland Reserve Easements in the Mississippi Alluvial Valley, along with efforts to conserve small wetlands.

Delta Waterfowl thanks House Chairman G.T. Thompson and Ranking Member Angie Craig for their leadership. The bill now heads to the Senate, and we will continue working with partners to move it forward.
