The U.S. House has passed the Farm, Food, and National Securities Act of 2026, a key step forward for conservation and the future of ducks and duck hunting.

Farm Bill programs support vital habitat, from CRP nesting cover in the Prairie Pothole Region to Wetland Reserve Easements in the Mississippi Alluvial Valley, along with efforts to conserve small wetlands.

Delta Waterfowl thanks House Chairman G.T. Thompson and Ranking Member Angie Craig for their leadership. The bill now heads to the Senate, and we will continue working with partners to move it forward.

We want to thank Korey with the Maple River Wood Duck Project for having us over to help kids build nesting boxes today. It's a blast as always helping these kids build their very own nesting box. The smiles on their faces are what makes everything we do worth it. This project was one of the things we decided to donate to and will continue to do so in the future. It is such an awesome opportunity for the kids to learn about wood ducks and how they use the nesting boxes. Here are some pictures from the day. WOW! Now that the dust has settled a few days, we would like to say, A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who attended the event on Saturday, you guys were awesome and we hope you had as much fun as we did hosting.
