Today our College and Career Readiness class met with TJ Jerke from the Business Enterprise Program. It was a great discussion. He talked about his journey to get to where he is now, starting from South Dakota working in journalism and political science, and finally making his way here to Wisconsin as he director of the Wisconsin BEP.

The Business Enterprise Program gives blind and visually impaired people the chance to run their own business, running vending machines all around the state in federal and state facilities.

BEP is a part of the Department of Workforce Development and works with Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. TJ gave a lot of great information, and I hope he can make it to our resource fair in May. Overall, he was a great guest speaker!

Hello fellow alumni! Many of you received an email copy of this notice, but I wanted to post it here for those that may not have. Many of you also should have received a letter by now. Remember if you do not receive one either a physical letter or an email of updated information, you can always reach out to us with your new and updated addresses.

The AAWSBVI Fundraising Committee is excited to reach out and share a few fun ways you can help support our organization and acquire some fantastic AAWSBVI memorabilia at the same time!
