For a few years we have been trying to give back and I felt the need more so after my mom died. Each fall, I try to help out an organization or family in need, asking for all my fellow friends and family to join forces to make someone's Christmas better because of other's generosity. I wanted a place for it to be organized since this seems to be something that will be continuing for years to come.
It started as blessing bags for a shelter and has morphed to that and more, depending on the year and who is needing our help. I hope you find it in your heart to give a little each year, whether it is Christmas time or not. God has given us one life to live and we need to make the most of it. No one's heart grows more, than those serving God and others.
