Recently, NOVA Executive Director Penny Ettinger joined community leaders, elected officials, and local changemakers at Amazon’s Rise & Recognize Community Fund Reception, celebrating the power of collaboration across Bucks County.

Through a $10,000 grant from Amazon, NOVA is expanding our prevention education efforts in Falls Township schools, bringing online safety education directly to students, families, and school professionals through classroom programming, parent education, and practical resources.

We’re grateful to Amazon for helping us take this important work from curriculum development to implementation!

Last week, NOVA Victim Advocates Alyssa Kuryluk and Karen Matthews traveled to Washington D.C. to represent NOVA at the 2026 National Sexual Assault Conference!

Bringing together more than 1,000 advocates, educators, service providers, and other allied professionals, the conference is an opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen the work being done to end sexual violence.

This year’s theme, “United in Purpose, Committed to Action,” speaks to what drives NOVA every day: turning knowledge and collaboration into meaningful action that supports survivors, strengthens our community, and moves us closer to a world free from sexual violence.

We’re proud to have Alyssa and Karen representing NOVA and bringing new ideas, connections, and inspiration back to our team and the communities we serve. 🧡

Pennsylvania is launching Track-Kit, a secure system designed to give survivors more transparency throughout the sexual assault kit process.

With Track-Kit, survivors will be able to confidentially check their kit’s status, receive optional automatic notifications, and stay informed as their kit moves through the process—from collection and transfer to laboratory analysis and storage.

For survivors navigating this process, knowing where their kit is can mean one less uncertainty to carry. At NOVA, we’re committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care and supporting survivors every step of the way. 🧡

Track-Kit is beginning its pilot launch in this summer, with full implementation expected by the end of the year.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us a couple of weeks ago for a night of laughs at NOVA’s Funny Fundraiser at Poco's Restaurant, Bar & Comedy Cabaret! Thanks to your support, we were able to raise funds to help survivors and continue NOVA’s mission. What’s better than comedy for a cause? 🧡
