We’re proud to share the successful pilot launch of NOVA’s newest prevention education initiative, We Want U 2 Know, presented in partnership with the Bensalem Township School District and the Bensalem Police Department at Snyder Middle School and Shafer Middle School. 💻📱
As technology and AI continue to evolve, so do the risks facing youth online. Through this new program, 7th grade students learned about digital safety, AI tools and deepfakes, online exploitation, cyber harassment, and the importance of using technology responsibly.
Using the SMART model, students are encouraged to:
🔹 Stay skeptical
🔹 Mind your privacy
🔹 Ask questions
🔹 Respect others
🔹 Think before using
The program is delivered in two phases:
🔹 Phase 1: A school-wide assembly introducing students to AI safety, deepfakes, online exploitation, and digital responsibility.
🔹 Phase 2: NOVA Prevention Educators return to classrooms for more in-depth conversations and skill-building focused on preventing AI-assisted bullying and exploitation.
NOVA is excited to continue expanding this important program to additional school districts interested in helping students navigate today’s rapidly changing digital world safely and responsibly.

This program was made possible through the generous support of Foundations Community Partnership’s BIIG Grant, helping NOVA expand AI risk awareness and digital safety education for youth in our community.
