📣It's tea time, baby! Join the Mad Hatter🎩and his literary friends for a Storybook Tea Party on Saturday, October 24, 2026. It will be fun for the whole family!

Munch on some sweet treats 🍰 and sip on some tea ☕(and other drinks) while the characters put on a show! Then have fun playing trivia with the cast!

Recommended for guests 6 & older; guests 15 and younger must be accompanied by adult. Costumes are optional, but encouraged!

Join us for Curiosity Club for ages 14+ Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30. During the month of October we will be exploring Simple Superstitions. Tomorrow, October 13, we will concentrate on folklore in literature by discussing familiar legends and themes in classic literature.

It's that time of year! You are invited to join us Saturday, October 24, 2026, for our annual Haunted Library Fundraiser. Join the Mad Hatter and his literary friends for a Storybook Tea Party. Enjoy light desserts and refreshments, with a live show and media trivia! Recommended for guests 6 & older; guests 15 and younger must be accompanied by adult. Costumes are optional, but encouraged!

Join us tomorrow, October 13, 2026 at 10am for: "Pat Pihl's Guided Autobiography Class."

What is Guided Autobiography?
Guided Autobiography or GAB is a welcoming, structured way to begin writing the stories of your life. Each week, participants receive thought-provoking themes and prompts designed to help uncover memories that may not have surfaced in years.

"But I'm Not A Writer"...
You don’t need to consider yourself a writer. The goal isn’t to create a polished autobiography—it’s to capture meaningful experiences, turning points, people and lessons that have shaped who you are.

What will we do?
Participants will write short pieces between sessions and have the opportunity to share them in a small, supportive group.

Our adult patrons are invited to join us at programs geared just for them!

Early Birds meets Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30am in the lobby. Grab a hot cocoa or some tea and socialize while you color, play games, do crafts, assemble LEGOs and more!

Media Review Club is a new program that meets monthly. This month's meeting on Monday, October 26, at 5:30pm will focus on the topic: "Don't be tricked by AI". We will explore examples of marketing created by Artificial Intelligence, learn how to spot AI, and avoid scams and tricks!

Curiosity Club explores a new hobby every month. During October, we will be talking about "Simple Superstitions". Tuesday October 6 at 5:30 we will learn about popular superstitions and their origins.

Check out our recurring programs for kids, tweens, and teens!

Minecraft Club is geared to ages 6 and older. On Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 experienced players can enjoy free play in the conference lab. On Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 a staff member will lead players of all experience levels on a shared creative server.

The first Tuesday of the month is Tween Games for patrons ages 10-13. Meet in the conference lab from 4:30 to 6 and learn to play LARP game Dungeon & Dragons. Snacks will be provided!

Teen Lounge on Thursdays at 4pm gives patrons ages 14-18 a chance to snack and hang out, no adults needed! Take over the Makerspace. You choose the music, lighting, and activities!

The last Wednesday of the month is Teen Games for patrons 14-18. Meet in the conference lab from 4:30 to 6 to play Dungeon & Dragons. Snacks will be provided!

Makerspace is available for open play Monday and Saturday from 10:30-3:30 and Tuesday through Friday from 3:00-4:30. Imp...

Makerspace is available for open play Monday and Saturday from 10:30-3:30 and Tuesday through Friday from 3:00-4:30. Impromptu use may be available at other times, ask the staff member at the information desk if Makerspace can be opened. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the Makerspace.

On Mondays from 3:30-5:00 there will be a staff-led activity in the Makerspace. This week, October 12th, is a play doh play day!
