As most of you are aware, there have been ongoing issues with missing signs and relocated to wrong area signs—to the point of now causing dangerous situations. We have had recovery calls about a lost young, new rider, an injured rider we were delayed reaching and even a head on collision issue. (Residents of Conifer Road on the South) expressed concerns when a stop sign had been removed. We have replaced and relocated mile marker signs on the North trails three times in the past two weeks and now many (almost half along the 19 miles) are completely missing. This creates a very dangerous situation and is absolutely unacceptable to remove these! Malicious you could say. We have contacted USFS to try and work to get this resolved.

Chris happened upon this while approaching an intersection right in the middle of the North trail! 😳Came across another while rerouting to bypass this guy! All totaled—spied 4 on the North this evening! 🐍 Yikes! It’s that time of the year again everyone! The forest is no joke! Be very aware especially any time you stop. Meanwhile—Steph was trimming away wearing her snake boots! 👱 Still waiting on bike parts
🐌 BTW any volunteers to come help trim the trails now? đŸ€Ł

If you’ve ever ridden with us, made a new rider friend for life, waved at a stranger on the trail, or pulled someone out of a mud hole — you already know what this is about.

It’s the people. It’s the families that show up weekend after weekend. It’s the kids learning to ride where their parents learned. It’s a community that takes care of its own and takes care of the land we ride on.

We’re working to protect and improve access to five OHV trails across South Carolina, and we need everyone who’s ever loved this sport to pitch in. As a 501(c)(3), every dollar you give is fully tax-deductible where applicable — and 100% of it goes exactly where you intend.

Let’s keep these trails open for the next generation đŸ€

Riders please STOP at all road intersections especially Conifer Road off of South. Many residents live on this road and a trail rider struck a dog recently. (Dog did not survive sadly đŸ˜„â€”yes, owner stated it shouldn’t have been in the road but still
) We added extra signs and super cleared out by this road to assist. We also raked short South and North and did some trimming for you! 😊 Enjoy!

if you see something, also say something. Nicely (at first) please. Newbies don’t know etiquette and you can use your phone translator if need be. We have been adding signs but sadly some IDIOT keeps taking them down and even moving them putting them too low, wrong sides of trail and even put mile markers in wrong places (North only so far but missing signs on south!!!—we fully believe this is why two guys were going the wrong way yesterday! We just commented on it in our last ride and had planned to get back out to place one back!) Further, when they remove our decals from Do Not Enter signs, people then steal the signs because they are too generic and no longer viewed as federally official (federal offenses carry much stiffer penalties). We need every single sign and more that WE have put up with our personal and raised monies, plus our time—and then some. Let us know if you ever see someone removing signs and get it on GoPro or camera please. And best wishes to Collin and whomever collided with him. We are so upset that this happened! We work so hard to help stop this!
