This event began last year and was coordinated within a brief amount of time and was hugely successful in donations to those in need in our community. This is a kid friendly event so make sure you bring the munchkins!! By involving our children in the community we are able to show them what Christmas should be about…giving to people less fortunate than ourselves. Our event will be held at Shawbuck
s Press Room Restaurant on December 14, 2014 from 1-9. There will not be a door charge; however, we are requesting a donation of a new unwrapped toy or a bag of non-perishable groceries. All toys collected will be donated to Toys for Tots, and all food will be donated to St. We are currently gathering donations for our Chinese auction. All proceeds will be donated to St. Susan’s Center along with all of the food we collect. As of right now we have had an overwhelming response from the community. Everyone has been so helpful! I have a feeling our Chinese auction is going to be nothing short of amazing! Chautauqua Music’s Christmas for Kids also has an amazing line up of musicians!! If anyone has any suggestions we would LOVE to hear them. Anyone that would be willing to help in any way would be greatly appreciated. We don’t have much time to put this together, so let’s all try to pull together and give back!! :)
